What We Are Working On
Update!
OK, it seems as though Providence Green is in dormancy. At least on the face. That’s because we have been working behind the scenes, on new projects, events and ideas. Take a look at what we have been working on:
-Cloth Bag Project, specifically,
*Creation of bags We have been working frantically on cutting fabric, creating handles and sewing bags. We would love some help! If you would like to help us with any of these tasks, email us at help@providencegreen.com
*Events We are working on having some events to promote awareness. We are looking for locations that would be open to having Cloth Bag creations and giveaways
*Giveaways As I mentioned, we are looking into giveways at local events. If you have any ideas on events we should attend, email us at help@providencegreen.com
*Video Yes, the fabled Providence Green video guys are working on a new video for the Cloth Bag Project! Stay tuned on the blog for the video!
-Story of Stuff promotion
*Events I have been working on creating hosting some screenings of the Story Of Stuff. If you have an idea on a hosting location, let us know!
-New Projects: Medication Collections, Stonyfield Container Collections
Here is a sneak peek at some of the ideas that may be worked into the future:
*Medication Collections: For expired or unused medications, we would collect them and send them in where people could dispose of them properly.
*Inspired by TerraCycle, a project to collect used yogurt containers could come into play soon.
